Content Creation: 5 Tips to Create 30 Days of Content

We are busy entrepreneurs.  Content creation is one of the most important things we are doing for our business.  If we don’t constantly create content for our audience, we risk falling to the wayside with them.

Around 60% of marketers create one piece of content every day.  That can be a lot of content to think about!  Depending on your industry, you may not need to post content every single day.  However, we do want to save time and money when it comes to creating and posting content.  The best way to do this is to create content for at least a month in advance.  That way, you have more time for other areas of your business!

Sound daunting?  It’s not hard, and we are going to give some tips to help you get 30 days of content now!

Get Inspired By Businesses You Love

There’s no need to rack your brain for new ideas.  If you are feeling a little drained or uninspired with content creation, check out brands you love.  This is a great way to find new, fresh ideas for your own business.  Of course, always put your own spin on the content you are loving so it’s original and unique to your business.

Create an Idea Bank

No matter where you are, write down any ideas you get for content.  Start creating an Idea Bank, so that you always have a pool of topics to choose from when you sit down to make content.  Schedule a day to refill the bank as you use topics.

Make a Calendar of Global Events

What could be easier than using a large event that relates to your business as inspiration for content creation!  Check out events happening that resonate with your audience.  These can be awareness months like Breast Cancer awareness, or May the 4th, if you have Star Wars fans.  These types of calendar events are such an easy way to fill your 30-day quota of content!

Revive Old Content

If you do find yourself tapped out with inspiration, try looking to your older content.  It’s completely OK to rehash an old favorite!  If you wrote a blog, make an infographic or a video. Instagram or Facebook image posts can now go on a Pinterest board.  Find content that is considered evergreen, which means it’s always relevant and valuable to the audience.  They are a goldmine for content inspiration!

Get a Social Media Scheduler

Now that you have 30 days of content ready, it’s time to get those posts scheduled.  The most amazing creation that saves you time is a social media scheduler.  Once posted, you can forget about it!  The scheduler does it all for you.  You can use programs like Buffer or Later.  Many of these are free to use, with premium features added if you get a paid account.

Are you feeling inspired for some content creation?  We sure do!  Creating 30 days of content is easy when you know where to look and how to get inspired.  So check out those businesses you love, or go through old blog posts!  Your new content is waiting for you.
