Whether you are a seasoned professional or a budding entrepreneur, our amazing marketing strategies can sometimes become a boring, old deflated balloon.  We all want our marketing strategies to be interesting, unique, and winning over our customer base and target audience.  If you are finding that you want to spice up your stale marketing tactics, take a look at some out-of-the-box ways to get your customers engaged and loving every piece of content you put out.

Cute and Fluffy

Are you finding your followers turning away from your marketing tactics?  It’s time to throw a cute, fluffy animal in front of their eyes.  Animals are a guarantee to win over their hearts and even entice them to spend their money on your product.  There are many successful brands whose mascots are leading the way, for example, Hello Kitty, Geico, and Softbank.  Animals are also a great way to represent what your brand stands for and its values.

ALL CAPS AND WITH LOTS OF EXAGGERATION!

Another great way to make your marketing a bit more spicy is to add in words using the ending “-est”.  Your product is the BIGGEST, BEST, MOST INTRIGUING thing on the market today!  Using caps also allows the consumer’s eye to gravitate towards specific words.  Exaggerate the beans out of your product, and people will start to believe how awesome it really is.

Those Cute, Chubby Cheeks

Babies, along with animals, are another great win for marketing tactics.  It’s rare for anyone to resist a cute baby image, or even a funny one.  A cute, or funny, baby image can be used for almost any product or brand.  Remember the Michelin Tire advertisement with the baby next to a tire, as shown in this article at Neuroscience Marketing?  According to the article, our brains are hard-wired to respond to baby faces, which makes using images of babies one of the most effective images to use in advertising.

Newsjacking

Newsjacking is finding the hottest, breaking news and putting your ideas into the story.  It’s not just responding to it that will get you attention, but putting your own intake on the “why” that may send your traffic over the edge.  Getting the basics like who, what, and where is easy, but the “why” is the place to put your ideas into a news story.  Impact shows some examples of how to use your ideas or takes on a breaking news story.

Ready, Set, Go!

These are just a few amazing examples on how you can use unique, interesting, and attention grabbing marketing tactics to spice up your marketing strategy.  A consumer’s average attention span is only 8 seconds, so start using these today and the results roll in!
